Deuteronomy 12:24-26

²⁴ You are not to consume the blood; you are to pour it on the ground as if it were water. ²⁵ You are not to eat it, so that things may turn out well for you and your children after you, for you will be doing the right thing from the Lord’s point of view.

²⁶ Take your consecrated things and whatever you have vowed to give, and go to the place that the Lord has chosen.
